Ports 1961

The models were trucking down the runway because the collection was so big (47 looks!).  So unfortunately it was difficult to get decent iPhone photos.  Here are a few of the highlights from the collection that was a merger between between classic silhouettes with futuristic details.  Prominent colors: rosemary, ginger, freesia, licorice, tobacco, and mulberry.

The Finale in Full Color from my Zi8 to follow shortly.

THANK YOU!

THANK YOU!

As you know I worked very hard to get as much of fashion week to you as possible.  But I could not have done it, or survived the long hours, without the effort and support of many people.

I’d like to extend a big bear hug full of gratitude to:

who gave me the opportunity to attend Fashion Week and use the Zi8 to shoot unbelievably crystal clear HD footage of the all the action.

my tireless livestream producer and videographer who carried a 40 pound LiveU unit and a camera to stream my adventures of the tents to you.

for harnessing the LiveU technology and allowing me to be the FIRST to stream footage footage from Fashion Week.  Max and Deborah, I appreciate all of your efforts in making this a true success this season.

my partner in crime who makes the whole charade fun.  Apologies for my stressful mood swings.

my ambassador to the things I know I can do in life.  In terms of Fashion Week, she taught me the ropes and how to balance the chaos in those tents.  Wouldn’t be there without her.

and John who provided a peaceful, safe haven for me to lay my head edit into the wee hours of the morning and offered constructive criticism every time I asked for help. She also let me borrow the HOT jacket she’s wearing here.  I got a million compliments!

  • Readers/Viewers

writing the sweetest emails about how much you appreciated all of the effort I was putting forth to provide solid coverage of Fashion Week.  These are two TMIweekly viewers from Japan who came up and chatted with me after a show.

  • Mercedes Benz and The W Hotel

for providing lovely lounges for us to rest our throbbing feet and serving champagne so we could look fabulous while dulling the pain.

  • Jen

my dear friend from Houston and rookie to the tents who kept me level-headed.  She reminded me of the fun in fashion.

  • Elizabeth

my assistant who corresponded with all of the PR people, organized my schedule, and arranged interviews to mitigate the chaos.

  • Andy

took care of my sweet Mason and then scrubbed the house from floor to ceiling so I would have a clean place to rest after my long week.

You all bring a smile to my face on a regular basis, and I am blessed to have you all as friends.  Many thanks and much love.

Isaac ends. Favorite show of the week. Quite a spectacle!

Amazing shoes. The heels look like springs! See the lines? They tell the model her course.

It’s raining on stage.
