Spice Station Special Delivery!
When Kallah heard how excited I was about her Spice Station smoked paprika, she so generously offered to send me some. But I was happily surprised to find two other delicious-looking spices in the package once I got it.
Included in the package: smoked paprika, the house-blend harissa, and black truffle salt (um, HELLO LOVER!). The packaging was so perfect, and I’m so excited to put these three to use! A few ideas…
- Smoked paprika: Reader Amanda gave me a bunch of ideas including using it as a rub for chicken or fish and as a seasoning for sweet potato fries. It would also be great in almost any soup or chili.
- Harissa: Kallah said her butcher told her it would be delicious with lamb. I also want to try adding it to simple dishes like different egg preparations (frittata, omelets, etc.).
- Black truffle salt: Honestly, I can’t think of a dish this wouldn’t add flavor and depth to! Kallah said it’s the best she’s ever had. I’m trying it out tonight!

I’m Macedonian, we us paprika for everything. Ex. putting it on cabbage rolls, smoked meats, etc. It’s a huge spice back home.
